We are pleased that you are considering joining Cub Scout Pack 542!
It is our hope that you and your child will find your time with the pack a rewarding and fun experience.
We have an active Cub Scout program for kids K-5th grade. Pack and/or den meetings every month, as well as other activities throughout the year. We encourage attendance at as many activities as possible. Some activities can help the scouts advance through the Cub Scout ranks and earn belt loops and badges.
We believe that participation in Cub Scouts makes a positive difference in the lives of our children. There are many benefits to having your child in Scouts:
Learn new concepts.
Develop new skills.
Develop a sense of belonging.
Enjoy a supervised environment for activities.
Learn citizenship, character, and fitness.
Develop leadership skills.
Develop self-confidence as they earn badges.
Spend quality time with family, friends, and leaders.
Have a lot of fun too!

Current membership fee structure*:
To ensure we have the resources to fulfill the promise of Scouting, the updated national membership fee is
$72 for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scouts participants
$45 for Exploring participants
$30 for council-paid memberships
$45 for all adult volunteers (includes cost of background check)
$75 for a unit charter fee
